Happiliy Ever After

Something beautiful. Doesn't always appear that way from the outside looking in. True happiness. Can't be measured or defined by anyone other than yourself. Real love. Isn't something that you search for or find. It finds you in the simplest of ways. Light. Light is only effective in the darkness. Darkness is subjective. We all have places deep within ourselves that seem darker than others, yet that beautiful light that comes form true happiness can help us find ourselves no matter how lost we may seem.

Love, light, happiness, and beautiful friendships are things that I have found here recently. Its not that bad things have stopped happening in my life, but its the idea that bad things don't seem so bad anymore. Something beautiful. Watching my the people around me grow into beautiful men and women with beautiful families and beautiful aspirations. Real love, isn't always a romantic love. Real love is encouraging, its that light that shines through the darkness. Real love is watching the people you love do the things that they love, and being overwhelmed with happiness and joy. The people in my life are so talented.

I have a friend that dances, he is great. Watching him move is encouraging. Its inspiring. Not only does he love what he does but others love to watch him do it. He doesn't dance for attention, admiration, or recognition. He dances because its just what he does. He will dance anytime/anywhere. He dances alone, with his friends, in private, and in public. He is great.

I have a friend that loves almost unconditionally. I know that I can be difficult at times and she is always there through thick and thin. Not only is she there for me but she teaches me things. I have learned so much from her. She betters me. Last night I had a dream about the two of us in a parking deck. The deck was full of cars and each car represent a relationship, a friendship, a person. All of the doors were ope, inviting us to hop in. That car, representing our friendship is always there, always unlocked, always open, music always on, brights always shining. She is great and means the world to me.

I have a friend who is slow to anger and level headed.

I have a friend who is funny and fearless.

I have a friend who has watched me grow.

I have a friend who is determined and encouraging.

So I guess what Im saying is. Make every moment your happily ever after.
